Wade, S.E., has been designing structures of a wide variety since 1988. With an emphasis on constructibility and attention to detail, Mr. Wade has established himself as a respected structural engineer among his peers in the structural engineering community and among architects and contractors over the past 21 years. Mr. Wade's hands-on construction experience with his father's construction company provides him with invaluable insight when it comes to achieving creative and efficient solutions to the design challenges found in today's residential and commercial buildings. This is achieved through an open line of communication and dialogue with the architect, other design consultants, and the owner during the design process. Mr. Wade holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California. Mr. Wade is a licensed Civil ( C51910 ) and Structural ( S4212 ) Engineer in the State of California and is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Northern California. Prior to establishing SW Structural, Inc, Mr. Wade held the position of Engineering Manager with Santa Clara Valley's largest and most respected structural engineering firm, Biggs Cardosa Associates, Inc During his 9 years with that firm, Mr. Wade was responsible for the design and management of a wide range of projects in both the private and public sectors. Mr. Wade's broad range of experience contributes to his ability to actively respond to his client's needs in a timely and cost effective manner. Whether the project is a small residential remodel or a new commercial building, SW Structural, Inc has the experience necessary to offer excellent structural design services at a fair price.
