I saw an ad in our local Pennysaver about Mr. Pepe's [# 3] Burgers in Montebello and decided to give them a try. Their "Family Pack" [4 burgers, fries and drinks] for $13.99 is a great deal. The place has an "A" rating from the Health Dept.. They have an indoor dining room and also a covered patio for outdoor diners. Our cashier was a young lady with a friendly personality. We wanted to eat 3 meals there and take 1 home for later [and she was thoughtful enough to suggest they'd make the 4th meal when we were ready to go.] The burgers were big, like "Whopper-sized", and grilled when ordered. All 3 of us got so much fries, that it looked like a double-order/ea. and they were served hot. The drinks were 16 oz. size. We enjoyed our meals and definitely will be coming back. I would rate them 5 stars for the food, value for the dollar, and service [which is what matters], but lowered it by 1 star, since the decor is not fancy-shmancy, to keep my review authentic.
