Great Property Managment company. I’ve rented from them for a while now and have had no problems. They make renting smooth and easy.

Busy office, but I must say they were very good about helping me find a place. I put in an application for one of their properties and heard back within the week that I had been approved, and signed the lease shortly after. They were really helpful with working around my schedule. I was able to sign the lease on Saturday and move in. Very pleased with my experience thus far!

Very professional and helpful. Had many questions regarding renting because it was my first time and they answered all of them and were patient. Truly grateful they have options. I'm renting one of their places in Marina close to my work which is a life saver.

I have rented from Vega 3 different times at 3 different locations. Every time was a great experience. Always got my deposit back minus carpet cleaning, which I knew I was going to be charged for. Couldn't recommend a better management company.

They treated me great I had been given the run around by 3 other companies in Monterey and wasted so much of my time and money. I called Vega saw the unit same day and was moved in with 5 days. I have been here almost 6 months and just cannot believe all the bad reviews. They have been great to me and my family and my maintenance (2 things) were done within 2 days of me reporting it.

They were wonderful for me and my family. We had a few things that needed to be fixed and they were fixed same day. When we moved out of the area they gave us all our money back. My brother came from my country and he now rents from Vega to and is happy.

I made my living in the property management of apartment communities across the United Stares and due to health reasons I retired in Monterey. Vega is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my 20+ years in the industry, Poor and sometimes very rude communications that always lacks consideration for others is the rule here. It is no surprise they are not a BBB member and all but one yelp review gave them one star, the other gave two stars that's fifteen bad reviews. They blame tenets for leaks in pluming they have ''surprise'' rules they makeup as they go along and lack a respectable self awareness when dealing with others. Expect trouble on every level with this property management company.

DO NOT. JUST DON'T. We rented a one bedroom because we needed a place fast & it was available. Our appliances appeared to be decent but turned out to constantly be in need of repair. Good luck getting anyone to come to fix anything. We had heard horror move-out stories from friends, so we hired a professional cleaning company to clean it so Vega couldn't charge us outrageous amounts after our walk through. One of "the girls" did our final walk through, said everything was great, and that our kitchen was the cleanest she had ever seen upon check out. Vega proceeded to charge us for a deep clean (including the kitchen), gave us a receipt with broken English, and said that OUR hired cleaner must not have done a good job (when we protested). They also charged us EIGHT hours of painting labor for a chipped spot the size of a quarter in our bathroom. They said that it was because they had to pay the painters for the time it took to buy the paint. Really? The SAME COLOR PAINT that the interiors of the entire 30+ complex is painted with? They have had a great number of court cases filed against them in Monterey in the past, and I can't believe that they still manage to stay in business with how awful they ALL are. Upon move out, they take $ out of your deposit for normal wear and tear things that are required for a landlord to cover (in the state of California) themselves. DON'T RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. Someone came to view our apartment before we moved out, and we told them the same thing. Stay away. They're blatant liars and completely incompetent.

A family owned business. If you're reading this, I hope it's not too late - don't sign anything just yet.



They cover up for each other - in other words they lie. They don't keep appointments and see no reason to apologize for doing so. Erica yelled at me, hung up on me and called me the liar. Erica, Candice, Crystal and Kate must have gone to the same school. THE WORST company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with - I could write pages worth of GRIEF.



They'll do everything to keep all your deposit - even give you receipts that are self-generated, so watch out for this. They won't sign or initial for any paperwork you deliver - they stamp it with a machine that doesn't even have their name on it. If you send them "Certified Mail", they'll refuse it so they can claim they never received it - so keep your Envelopes that are marked "REFUSED" by the post office.



Any good reviews you read would most definitely have to be coming from the family and their employees.

They gave me a lot of grief. i write this only to save someone else from being put through what they put me through. If there were a negative rating, I wold give them a negative. They don't deserve the one star.

We paid $,1800 deposit on the apartment. We were supposed to get the deposit refund in the mail 21 days after we returned the keys. It's been well over 21 days! I have called and asked them about it, they said they mailed it so and so days ago, if you don't receive it on this certain day call us back.....finally get a call from them saying they have our check ready for pick up, I asked them how much the check is for and it's only for $1,180! I don't think so!!!!! It doesn't cost no $620 to clean carpets that we already cleaned and to paint the walls that didn't need to be painted!
