Located in Montesano, Wash., Beacon Elementary is a learning center that offers educational services to students in pre-kindergarten through third grade. It is a part of the Montesano School District, which also operates a middle and a junior senior high school with a combined enrollment of more than 1,200 students. The school maintains a library media center that offers a collection of over 5,000 books on animals, biographies, mysteries, fantasies, adventures and humor. Beacon Elementary employs a work force of over 40 full-time, certified staff members, including classroom teachers, paraprofessional, special education aides, custodians, guidance counselors, and art and music professionals.
