Founded in 1947, Alabama Road Builders Association serves the collective interests of all sectors of Alabama's transportation construction industry, which includes contractors, materials suppliers, consulting engineers and other professional service firms. Through its association with the Department of Transportation, the Alabama Legislature, the US Congress and the Governor's Office, it provides comprehensive representation to its members. Based in Montgomery, Ala., the association takes a lead role in the lawmaking processes by monitoring legislation, taking proactive positions on bills and providing expert testimony and information to lawmakers. RoadPAC is the political action committee of the Alabama Road Builders Association.
