Great Place to live! Wonderful overall experience. Compared to other apartments, good location and price. Close to shopping malls, churches, etc. Staff are professional and respond promptly to maintenance issues.

We are here for 2 months while my husband does a training course at Maxwell and we are incredibly disappointed with the quality of this apartment. The pictures they send you for a furnished apartment and what you actually get are two VERY different things. The furniture they do provide is of very low quality. The TV is tiny and has sound issues. The beds are uncomfortable and so noisy when you move in them that they wake up our 4 month old who is in the same room as us. The carpet is absolutely filthy, there was mold showing up in the bathroom the 2nd day we were here. The appliances provided are from the 1970's and the washer is so loud when it's running that you can't hear the TV even though it's in a different room. You can hear the people above you very easily, the cookware they provide is the absolute cheapest you could get and the front door fits so badly in the frame that leaves blow in when it's windy and light shines in the apartment when the sun is low enough to hit the door. There was a shooting in the apartment complex recently also. The office staff is very nice, but the supervisor at the corporate office is rude and very unhelpful. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Apartments under new site management. The attitude of the manager was confrontational throughout the 60-day lease period. The Corporate package (at a cost of approximately $250.00/ month) comprised of very low end items. An example is the 1- quart teflon-coated pan that released the coating into the food (rice) during cooking Apartment rented to me with significant work needing to be completed, such as loose kitchen faucet; bedframe broken; linoleum in entryway, bath and kitchen not fully attached around the wall (very unsanitary), apartment not clean, blinds broken (privacy compromised); heavy layer of animal hair on sofa and chair in living room. After meeting with "tenant advocate" at management company, apartment was cleaned, sosfa, chaair and bedframe replaced. A work order was initiated for the other items; however, after more than thirty days,(half the term of the lease), the work had still not been completed.

Further, no compensation for failure to meet the terms of the lease was even offered.



As a visiting faculty member at a local university, I have had a short term corporate lease at Azalea Hill each summer for the past four years. This is the last year that I'll seek accomodations at this property.
