Founded in 1926, the Junior League of Montgomery is an educational and charitable organization. Based in Montgomery, Ala., the organization promotes a range of programs, including parenting, health and well-being, early-childhood intervention, life-skills development, domestic violence, education and children and youth. It provides volunteer support and funding to area non-profit agencies for the benefit of the Montgomery community and the personal development and education of its league members. The Junior League of Montgomery has supported numerous projects for associations, such as Brantwood Children's Home, Bridge Builders, ClefWorks and Montgomery Cancer Wellness Center.
