Miyako used to be my favorite, until that fateful day that they snubbed us for dinner. My boyfriend and I walked in the restaurant and patiently waited for someone to assist us. No one came for about 4-5 minutes. We assumed they were busy. Then this other group came in and right out of the blue some one came and greeted them and took them to a seat. Then, when we were finally seated the host told us we had to sit in a certain area. I understand the 'waiting to fill up the table' concept, but on two other people came in. We could have sat where we wanted to (I mean we paid enough). We should have known that we would be biased after these two indecent gestures because neither my boyfriend nor I was pleased with the meal. There was a time I would have given Miyako 5 stars, even 6 (if possible) but after that, they deserve a downgrade. I'm thinking about giving them a two! Know when I have a fix for a Japanese Steakhouse, i just go to Prattville's Tokyo.
