I thought this place was great! Staff very friendly and seemed genuinely concerned for my dogs. All three were boarded there the week of 8/19. I picked them up on Friday and by Monday my oldest and smallest dog started showing symptoms of kennel cough. I don't believe she was the mainstream dog population like the other two were. By early this week one of my other dogs came down with it and now my last dog is showing symptoms. They all were all vaccinated appropriately, but apparently the vaccine for bordetello is like humans receiving the flu vaccine. It doesn't. Prevent us from catching, but if we do it will hopefully be a mild case. $150 in meds so far not counting the latest dog exhibiting symptoms. Is this a cleaning issue at the kennel? I don't know.

I am in love with Puppywood! We've left our dog in wonderful hands for several overnight visits over the past 2 years. She comes home happy, socialized, and tuckered out from all of her playing. The owners continue to invest in upgrades and are dedicated to the health and happiness of each pet. I wouldn't leave our dog anywhere else!
