Montgomery Junior High School is a part of the Montgomery Independent School District. The school enrolls more than 900 students in grades seven through eight. It offers classes in English, reading, science, math, and Texas and American history. The school administers the English as a Second Language program. Montgomery Junior High School also provides instruction in Spanish, choir, theater arts, band and computer literacy. The school offers sports activities, such as volleyball, football, cross-country, basketball and tennis. It provides participation in student organizations, including the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the National Junior Honor Society. Montgomery Junior High School maintains a library.
