Wayne County High School provides academic and social education to more than 700 students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers various athletic activities, such as cross-country, basketball, wrestling, tennis, softball, football, baseball, volleyball, and track and field. The school s core curriculum includes English, health and physical education, science, social studies, computer applications, foreign languages and math. Its elective subjects include accounting, business education, industrial technology, agriculture and philosophy. In addition, the school provides career guidance and personal counseling services. Wayne County High School also offers food, health screening and transportation services. It has a library and media center that provides a variety of print and electronic resources. The school is governed by Wayne County Schools.
