Dr. Quick and his staff have always gone out of their way to care for our Snowflake, Gato and "Kitten." His staff is well-trained and compassionate. Dr. Quick himself has gone above and beyond the call of duty. One late night Snowflake began to bleed from someplace where she should not have been bleeding and I called Dr. Quick. The answering service passed the message onto him and he called us back immediately. As it turns out, he was within minutes of arriving home over an hour away and in spite of that, he turned around and sped back to meet us at the office. He took care of Snowflake. If that isn't dedication, then I don't know what is. Even off-duty, he acts as if he is on-duty. One time we were in a local market shopping and passed him and his family. One of our pets was having an issue earlier that week which he was made aware of. So, there in the market, on his personal time, he starts inquiring as to the status of our little beastie to make sure he was alright.
Dr. Quick is one of those doctors who looks upon his patients as if they were his children, I think, based on how he has interacted with our pets AND he truly cares about all animals. I can't count the number of times he has taken in strays, injured animals off the street, dropped off by concerned citizens, etc, and nursed them back to health, sometimes asking for help but always bringing the animals back to health if possible. What sort of doctor does that?
A REAL DOCTOR.
And there you have it. I am sure there are other caring vets in the area but as for me and my wife, we would not trust out little Snowflake, our Gato or our "Kitten" with any other doctor.
