This place saved us! Being vegetarians in Monticello, UT, was a challenge. Well, other than this place, impossible except perhaps for pizza. The choices at The Peace Tree Juice Cafe were diverse, they were willing to substitute, servings were generous, and the food was delicious. The name, juice cafe, is a little misleading. It is more like a healthy/semi gourmet restaurant with good coffee and juice bar. Also wine menu. The patio looked nice, but it was too chilly to eat outside when we were there. I agree with the other reviewer that the wait staff did a good job, but seemed like they were on eggshells...there is something odd going on there. It did not negatively affect our experience. I can't remember exactly what we had, but every night it was different and good.

Good food...EXPENSIVE You decide.

Food is yummy! Everything is yummy! Employees on the other hand act like they are scared of something or are going to bolt if you ask for directions or make small talk. I find this very "Odd" for a tourist town. At least it should be a tourist town. It is the nearest town to Canyonlands National Park but the prices are very high even for a tourist town, which by normal standards it is not. So if you have 20 bucks to spend on a veggie wrap and a small smoothy you should go in - but try not to freak out the employees to bad.:-)
