I wanted to find a closer chiropractor and really wanted to like this one, but unfortunately did not. The people are very friendly, however there are a few big issues I had:-I was not told when booking the appointment that I would not be adjusted at the first appointment.-While at the appointment I was given x-rays and told price, but was still not told that I would not be adjusted at that appointment before receiving the x-rays. I was not given this information until AFTER x-rays were taken and completed.-AFTER being x-rayed and AFTER finding out I would NOT be adjusted at that appointment, I went up front to schedule the next series of appointments and was then asked to pay $95. When I asked if this was after my insurance that I already provided, I was then told that they required the patient to pay and then the insurance company reimbursed the patient. I feel like this office stacked my appointment and chain of events in such a way that I was "entrapped" into a useless appt. w/ no adjustment, paying for that appt., and furthermore out of pocket money from me for that appointment. I have been to 3-4 other chiropractor offices in my lifetime and have never left a first appointment without getting adjusted and still in severe pain. I have also never had to pay a full out of pocket fee for a visit. I normally pay a $6.41 copay. $95oop vs a $6.41 copay is a drastic difference. I will be calling my regular chiropractic office to get the adjustment I still desperately need and drive a little further out of my way. This experience was very disheartening.
