The Division for Historic Preservation is a public agency that advocates for historic and prehistoric properties in Vermont. The division provides a variety of preservation programs, including downtown, financial assistance, archeology and educational. It has partnerships with the Preservation Trust of Vermont, Preservation Education Institute and Preservation Education Institute. The Division for Historic Preservation s national partners includes the National Park Service Heritage Preservation Services Division and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
