For more than 35 years, Prevent Child Abuse Vermont has been serving as a social welfare organization. Based in Montpelier, Vt., it works on preventing child abuse and neglect through parent education, support and public awareness. The organization offers various programs, such as Care for Kids, Circle of Parents, Sexual Abuse Free Environment for Teens Program, Shaken Baby Syndrome/Abusive Head Trauma Prevention Program and more. Prevent Child Abuse Vermont partners with several organizations that include WPTZ/WNNE TV, Vermont McDonalds, 101.5 The Fox, Price Chopper and United Way of Chittenden County.
