Tell Us About Your Favorite Teacher For months, Vermont-NEA has sponsored radio advertisements featuring famous Vermonters who give thanks to their public school teachers. Beginning October 13, those spots are moving to television. The first of these spots, which you can view right here, features professional football player and Spaulding High School graduate David Ball. The point of this campaign is simple: to remind Vermonters, and the nearly 12, 000 members of Vermont-NEA, of the important role teachers play in the lives of their students. Behind the achievements of many Vermonters is a dedicated public school teacher. Whether in professional sports, the arts, politics, business or any endeavor, graduates of Vermont's public schools demonstrate the benefits of having an outstanding teacher. We want to celebrate the hard work of the men and women who make education their passion and their lives...because the future of Vermont's success is in their hands.
