I am really disappointed in Dr Avery. Mainly my issue is that he is an insurance sell out. I was in a car accident in which the only relief I received came from chiropractic and massage. When USAA decided that they wanted another chiro to look over my notes, all of my information was sent to Dr. Avery. He took it upon himself to deny all of my claims, without having ever seen me as a patient or talking to me specifically about my symptoms. The chiropractor who is treating me sent in numerous appeals and additional paperwork to get my claims paid, and Dr Avery still felt that he was better able to make the clinical decisions around my care than my treating Doctor and I.Keep in mind that this doctor will deny charges for patients he hasn't even seen in order to put a big insurance sell out check in his pocket... is that really who you want treating you and your family?

Dr. Avery is the best Chiropractor I have ever used. Wish I still lived in Montrose to use his service.
