I began studying the guitar at age 14. My passion for the instrument was immediate. In my junior year of high school, my skill had advanced enough that I began to teach others to play. It never occurred to me that I could teach until someone asked me for lessons! Trying to break down what I learned for someone else in a understandable way was a great experience to get at such a young age. I felt like a guitar tutor at first. As time went on, I learned the craft of teaching, I became a true Guitar instructor
