After having issues that we thought were with the irs not doing their job we found out it was our old CPA messing up. We came to Brenner CPA 3 years ago and have had no issues. Great, fast service very year.

Unfortunately, our experience with Michelle L Brenner & company CPA left us with penalties and interest fees from both the State of Oklahoma and the IRS. The company had our information for six months. Upon many occasions that we contacted the company during this time we were told that they were working on it and that the extension deadline was October 15. Finally on October 14 we were told that our forms were finished and that we owed approximately $5000.00, a complete surprise. In addition we were charged $400.00 for the service. A little over a month later we received a letter from the IRS stating that we owned $1200.00 in penalties and interest. To our surprise we learned that the Michelle L Brenner & Company had failed to file the extension paper work, and the deadline for extension was actually September 15, not October 15. In addition upon inquiring with another professional service we learned that Michelle L Brenner had actually filed the return wrong resulting in us having to have our personal taxes re-figured and re-submitted. When we brought these error to the attention of Michelle L Brenner and requested our $400.00 back since her services were incorrect and costly, she said she would have to think about it and would let us know. We have not heard from her since. We are filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau. I implore anyone to reconsider using this company. If not for their incompetence but their lack of concern regarding their obvious mistakes and their impact on our family.
