Rather than stating policy and procedure with no gray areas, be sure that your customer perceives you care and perceives you are trying to help as if you are their representative working in their best interests. Accept responsibility rather than saying the corporate office is at fault. When you take over the office from another insurance person, please contact your customers to let them know you are new and there to help them with their needs?
