Home Page Welcome to Poplar Springs Fire Department website. Our department covers over 49 square miles and serves over 11, 600 people with 29 professional fire fighters and staff personnel. Our department provides the following services from our three fire stations: fire inspection and suppression, auto extrication, confined space rescue, medical first responder services, public education, CPR and Fire Extinguisher training. The Poplar Springs Fire Service Area will strive to provide an adequate, cost effective level of fire protection and rescue services to the taxpayers of the Poplar Springs Fire Service Area.
