I took my bike here to get him to simple put led lights on it and send parts to robbiecustompaiting. He had it almost 9 months. First time I got it back the handle bars almost fell off. I had my child on it. Second time the seat falls off. I’m done he will never touch another piece of my bikes ever. Do or die ????

Before Mark moved to NC he was in Columbus, OH. Mark started the Busted Knuckle here and seemed to be doing good for awhile. He had a couple of really good guys working for him. Most of the guys soon moved on and left Mark on his own. Mark soon after packed up and left for NC.

When Mark left Columbus he took a transmission of mine with him. I had dropped it off for a rebuild 2-3 months prior to his moving. Rather than telling me he was moving and or giving me the option he packed up shop and took my trans with him. I contacted him and we talked, I was promised it would get rebuilt and send back up to me. Its now been 2 plus years and countless lies later I still don't have my transmission. I have called and talked to Mark countless times only to be lied to repeatedly. I have given up on Mark and will by another one. My only hope here is to advise any of you guys to please beware of Mark and his business practices.

From my personal experience I would not trust Mark to touch anything of mine. I would also advice you to be very cautious about taking anything there to be repaired. Things seem to come up missing.

If you are looking for a quality independent motorcycle mechanic in the Lake Norman area or north of Charlotte, look no further. Mark, the owner of Busted Nuckle has decades of experience and does top notch work for less than half of what you would pay at the dealership. They had a shop in Ohio and opened a second one in Mooresville a couple of years back.

I moved back to NC and (before my next maintenance was due) I ended up trading up to a FLHTCU (Ultra Classic) that needed some TLC and a head gasket. I did some heavy research on who I could trust to do the job. Busted Nuckle not only had great reviews online, but I heard phenomenal things about them when I asked around (word of mouth). After talking to Mark and taking a tour of the shop to see some of what they were doing, I was confident that I had come to the right place. Mark actually seems to do quite a bit of the work there himself, which definitely made me feel confident.

In the end, Busted Nuckle went above and beyond my expectations with the quality of their work (they even addressed some issues that I wasn't aware that I had). The price was less than half of what I would have paid at the dealership, and there were no surprises when it came time to settle up. Mark was fantastic to work with and provided solid guidance and advice throughout the repair process. Regarding the maintenance end of things, they used quality fluids/filters (as a standard practice, not as something you need to request), and they completed all of the minor maintenance items that are all too commonly skipped over by Harley dealerships and shady independents.

I'm thrilled that I've found a quality shop like this local to me. Busted Nuckle is the only place I'll be going for maintenance, repairs, and new or used parts. I can't recommend these guys highly enough!
