We eat at Garden Gate Cafe at least once a week. I have tried almost everything on the menu and it all has been great!! My latest fav is the Thai Turkey wrap. The desserts are wonderful as well. We also like the fact that we are treated like family when we walk in the door. Great place for lunch!!

Garden Gate Deli, located in the small strip of shops HWY 24, between Belks shopping center and Walmart is excellent. The menu offers a creative selection of fresh salads, soups and sandwiches. The Chicken salad sandwich is a favorite. Kandy's soup specials are consistently very good! Pimento cheese and quiche is spot on too! The showcase full of house made desserts is to die for!!!Family owned and operated, I always choose Garden Gate over the big corp restaurants! Also I am likely to eat a fresh and more healthy lunch as opposed to the other nearby restaurants with burgers and fries! Nothing here is from the freezer to the microwave!!
