I discovered Linda in a desperate quest for a bad hair cut rescue (see my review of Hair Designs on Bridges Street in Morehead City). It was the end of the business day and Linda was preparing to go home for the day. I showed up in her shop desperate to find someone who could repair the damage that'd just been done to my hair. Hers was the 2nd shop I'd been to in this quest. The 1st (a competitor's salon) didn't have an opening but, out of pity, referred me to Linda's salon. I was distraught that I might have to go to work the next day looking like I did. I have to have a professional appearance in my work. Linda shared w/ me later that she took one look at me and told herself she couldn't leave - that she just had to stay and help this lady. Thank heavens for her good heart and excellent skills. She did a miraculous job of repairing the damage as much as possible (the rest would just have to grow out). In addition to being a talented hair stylist, Linda is a most pleasant person to be in the company of. She really made me feel at ease and brought me back from what felt like the precipice of a crisis. I'm no froo froo girly girl by a long stretch. But I do need someone who knows how to cut very fine straight hair. You can't hide a bad hair cut in hair like mine. Linda knows this and showed her talent and skills when she cut (what was left) of my hair. I'd just moved back to NC in late August and was putting off the stress of finding a good hair stylist until I absolutely had to have a hair cut. In the end and as fate would have it, Linda is now my hair stylist.
