S.F. Ballou Construction Co has been an integral part of Carteret County's homebuilding for two generations. Current president, Sammy Ballou, took the reigns in 1980 from his father, and in turn, incorporated in 1982. S.F. Ballou currently holds an unlimited building North Carolina general contractor's license and performs both residential and commercial work in the Morehead City, Beaufort, and Atlantic Beach areas. In our residential work, we focus primarily on custom houses, in which we host initial meetings to determine your specific desires in your future home. It is from these meetings that we are able to estimate the project as you envision the final product, not as a square foot number, or an estimated cost-plus figure. A custom house deserves specific detail, and so from the initial meetings, through the contract sum estimate, to composing the specifications and completing your unique structure - the custom home building experience is simply custom.
