DO NOT STAY HERE. WE RENTED A CABIN FOR THE 4TH OF JULY THEN WHEN WE GOT THERE THEY HAD RENTED IT TO SOMEONE ELSE. THEN THEY REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY. THE NEW MANAGEMENT IS A JOKE AND THE OWNER WAS CUSSING ME OVER THE PHONE. DONT WAIST YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!

I would recommend this place to anyone. The mangers there are very nice and helpful. The grounds and cabins were very clean and everything looked awesome. we stayed there in 2014 . We are planning on coming again next year.

I have stayed in some pretty rustic places, but this place was just plain nasty. The quality of the cabins was significantly less than that pictured on the web site. I just left rather than stay overnight because I wouldn't subject my children to the unsafe conditions and horrible smell. Do yourself a big favor and STAY AWAY. My recommendation is to check out the Comfort Inn nearby. That's where we ended up after the horrible encounter at Cave Run Lodge. We SOOO made the right choice!

Do not stay @ this lodge. We arrived to a dirty A frame, with no supplies such as addtional paper towels, trash bags, toilet tissue, etc.... Chose not to use the oven because to was so nasty. We only had enough towels & face cloths for a day. There were 5 adults & 2 children under the age of 5. When we asked the cleaning staff for addtional linen we were told that they did not know if they could get any more for us that they only had so much linen for each cabin/A frame. The refrigerator went out on us and they brought in a filthy one from another cabin, then the air conditioner went out that took approximately 2 hours to repair. In the process of getting ready one morning went to put on my tennis shoes & there was a spider the size of a half dollar inside of it. I could go on & on, my advice would be to make sure to find another place to stay and spend your money on nice hotel with a swimming pool.
