RCRMC is a circus. No organization. No professionalism. No accountability.

By far the WORST hospital I have ever been to. I have been going to RCRMC since 4-17-2014 and every experience I have had is terrible.

If you like 3 hour wait times for appointments, doctors who rush you through and do not explain your condition (perhaps because of a lack of knowledge/ expertise?), nurses who do not send in approval requests for MRI's/ physical therapy/ orthopedic surgeons, no communication amongst other departments, and an overall entire staff with a bad attitude (save 2 or 3 good apples), then this hospital is for you!

I would never wish that any one you would have to go to this establishment.

DO NOT TRUST "RegisteredNurse42" or any other nurse on here posting 5 stars. They are simply posting on behalf of job security- not reality or the facts.

If I could give 0 or negative stars to this hospital I would...

this place is a nightmare

I went in for treatment of my neck back an Migranes an my allergies. They gave me the run around they always left the room with unanswered questions an could never get anywhere with them. I never got referred to see anyone for relief even though it's in there guidlines that if they can't year you for pain they have to referee you to someone that can. I was pretty patient though everything they put need through I just thought this is what doctors do our here to test you but honestly they thought I was an not in pain. I had mris to show what was wrong with me an it still didn't matter cuz I was too young an not in pain. I waited for them to order X-ray an mris that seemed to never come they were suppose to order then on my first visit I didn't get X-ray till my third time going there an then saying well we need those I told them I'm waiting for them I've since what I could but it didn't matter cuz when I got the X-ray the doctor didn't even read me it when I set the appointment up for it an even asked her to read it after they lost it an she had the nurse go an find if an she walks out an says after she finds it is have other patients to take care of leave your number I will call you. That's when I walked out an said forget it you were suppose to help me an make me feel important an that you cared if just told you how the other side of family care was treating me by a doctor me like I was a child just cuz a cursed by mistake because he was being too rough with guys physical an thought u was lying when I told him I was in pain an this isn't even all of it. I had a doctor prescribe me something for my headaches an then when I went to get a refill he goes an tells me that was giving to me by a mistake even though the guy was a real doctor that gave it to me in the first place. Still to this day I'm left suffering an lost hope cuts of this place my mri never went through even with comconstant naggin I did to find or when I'm going to get it an amazing month later still no one knows why it hasn't reached my insurance I how people can see this an not waste there time with the family care clinic my life is so messed up due to this is can't sleep can't eat an in always in person an just have to deal with ur the only relief I get was from the hospitals when my pain got so severe they were the only ones that did something about it

This place was amazing! Very clean, pleasant surrounds. Staff was very kind and accomedating. Rushed us right into the ER bed and it was all care after that. The place was busy but the Drs and Nurses found time to give us all the attention and care we needed. The day after ER discharge we called the clinic to get a new Primary Dr. and was given an appointment that next day. The Dr. was wonderful, she got my son-in-law admitted to the hospital immediately so he could get all his needed tests done soon. It usually would have taken 3-4 weeks to see the specialist and get MRI ordered but Dr. made it all happen by admitting him. Prior to above ER visit we had him in Hemet Hosp for two days. RCMC is such a wonderful difference in care, cleanliness and family support, I can't say enough. Thank you to all the nurses and drs for your care.

worst hospital ever!!!

I went there because I had to be seen urgently. I got there around 5pm. When I got there, there was a line I had to at least wait 20 mins to check in. Then I had to wait in the ER waiting for 5 hrs with only my vitals getting checked that's it!! I was told while waiting to be seen, I was gonna get blood work done, urine test, etc..... None of that was ever done while I was waiting!! I was still waited till 12 am for them to tell me I still had 20 more people infront of me!! Once I found that out I left... I can say this is the worst hospital!! The there nurses are beyond the worst!! I wouldn't even give this hospital any stars, however since I have to I am.

In 2007, They saved my life within 10 min. of walking into the ER door. I had a rare case of Fungemia, or, a fungal infection of the blood, and, from the moment I entered the ER, I was rushed to an exam area in a wheelchair, because I was so week. A few quick tests-some inquiries, and next thing I new I was entering my home for the next 10 Days in the ICU. I had no idea just how sick I was until I learned that I was the ONLY patient of 15 or so on ICU that was coherent. ALL the other patients were on their deathbed. The Doctors, Nurses, & Staff all treated me with the utmost in

Medical, Physical, Spiritual, & mental Care! Thank- you, Jesus, for putting me in Riverside County Regional Medical Center @ the right time!

Working at county

I have read the reviews of RCRMC and I have to say I am so sorry for every bad incident all of you with bad incidents have had recently or in the past have had. I am an employee of RCRMC and I hear the complaints all the time. No patient should feel as if nurses aren't putting their patients first. We as nurses work very hard but some may need to be re-educated about patient care and patient safety.

I'm not sure when county will transform into a one of the best hospitals where we make our patients the center of healthcare but I hope it's soon.

This place is horrible!!!! I w...

This place is horrible!!!! I was getting all my "pregnancy care" here, I would have to sit around for hours, my appointments were at 9 am I would get out around 2 or 3. When I was finally called they would make me wait in a room for the dr.s "externs" they would never tell me anything, they would come in and out, never knew what was going on, they never found my baby's heart beat nothing! I started going there in july I had to make an appointment for my first ultrasound, the only one I was able to get was till the end of november.

Anyways I had to get surgery when I was 4 months pregnant, had to be there at 7 am, I got there they made me change blah blah blah! around 10, nurses tell me the dr wasn't coming in because he had to go to court and they made me a new appointment. So the day I finally got the surgery nurses sucked they took me out like an hour later I couldn't feel my legs yet and they were trying to make me get up to leave so they can put the next patient in. I asked them when I was able to go back to work they told me in 2-3 days my ***had to go back to work 3 weeks later, the pain was horrible!! After that I kept asking them about the surgery, nobody ever told me anything, they didn't even know I had surgery!! So i finally left, They don't care about you at all, my scar looks so ugly!(my csection looks way better, cant even see it and it didn't hurt at all) Anyways I would never go back to this hospital ever!!!!!

I am new in California, coming...

I am new in California, coming fresh out of a Chicago suburb, and my son takes medication daily. I have never even heard of a "county hospital" before, and let me tell you, my whole outlook on healthcare in america has changed drastically due to spending the entire day at this miserable hellhole. All we needed was a prescription refill for my little guy, and this took 8 hours. The nurses are rude and very uncaring, and the Dr. seemed very unknowledgeable about my sons meds. There is no check in system, other than to take a seat (huge IF, because there arent many seats to begin with!!!) and then "scoot" down a seat when someone gets called to be seen. A line of sick people, many of whom are in serious pain, SCOOTING, seat to seat, to inch closer to the nurse. People in very serious condition coming in screaming in pain, or bleeding, and being told, "thats nice, fill this out and wait in line". This was a nightmare, and it made me question if I had done a horrible thing by moving my family to such a state that OBVIOUSLY doesnt take care of its residents? If you have a medi-cal card, why dont you deserve to go to any hospital thats nearby? Why must you endure this degrading treatment? They wont even provide air conditioning in some areas of the waiting rooms for heavens sake!!! One nurse actually told a woman with an obvious leg injury, that if she wanted to talk with a family member, the family member couldnt even enter the waiting room to stand next to her, but that she needed to walk out of the waiting room to talk with ehr own daughter. There needs to be serious reform in this hospital!!!!

I've been admitted to this hos...

I've been admitted to this hospital a few times, gave birth there, and have taken my son there a few times. Overall, my view on the hospital is less than great. The doctors are great but the nurses can be extremely hostile and/or unhelpful.

The first time I was admitted was in my teenage years when I had appendicitis. I had a complicated case because my appendix burst, so I had to stay for 2 weeks while I recovered. The doctors were great and friendly, but they only stopped by for a few minutes on certain days to check on my progress. I had most interaction with the nurses. While some were very helpful and friendly, two stuck out to me in a negative way. One nurse got a horrible attitude with my mother for asking her for assistance. Another was gagging and almost throwing up as she was cleaning my drainage bag. They made me feel worse than I already did.

A few years later, I needed stitches on my eyebrow. The nurse who attended me thought I was going to touch her with my bloody hand and snapped at me. I left my phone in a different room and the same nurse snapped at another nurse for trying to help me find it.

I gave birth to my son there in 2008. The experience was AWFUL. When my son was born, they cut the cord without even giving my husband the option to do it(he really wanted to). They did not allow my husband to stay at the hospital with me overnight. The day I was scheduled to be discharged, I was told my son had a heart murmur and needed to be seen by the heart doctor, who would not be there until the next day. They said I had no reason to stay at the hospital so I had to leave. They kept my son in the nursery, I was not able to take him out, and my husband and I had to take turns going in there with him. We stayed there until he was discharged(luckily the murmur was not serious), because when I showed up, my son was crying, soiled, and starving while the nurses conversed. I refused to leave him in their care after I witnessed this.

I have taken my son there for a few minor issues, and each time I have felt like they just gave him a minimum amount of attention and we were in and out like a drive through, except that it takes hours to be seen.

It is a community hospital, so I do not expect any VIP treatment, I simply wish to be treated like a human and with respect. This hospital needs to train their nurses to treat people a lot better. It is stressful enough to have to go to the hospital, and being treated badly makes it so much worse. I also dislike many of their policies and wish it didn't take so long to be seen for just a few minutes.

Today I spend more than 9 hour...

Today I spend more than 9 hours in the hospital and it's not finished yet. I asked them to leave before I paid the bill because it's over the midnight. Surprisingly, the total time for medication is only 15 minutes (including everything such as talking with a doctor).

How can I say!!

REGISTRATION COMES FIRST!!!!

Just came back from this horrible hospital, arrived at 7pm this afternoon with my liitle 11 year old nephew, the tip of his right hand ring finger hanging by a piece of his skin,(this happened while he was playing basketball and the rim of the court fell on his little finger cutting from where the nail starts up) so his tiny little finger's gushing out blood and they are so worried about registration before he can even get looked at, to make a long story short he was seen after two hours and a half!! by that time his little finger tip was dead and doctor said he couldn't re attach his finger so it has to be cut off, while all this time we were waiting in there, RN staff and nurses are in the middle of the hall way talking about how hard they party and how beautiful their hair is! when they could have been of more help. It makes me sick to my stomach just to think if they would've acted faster his finger would be in one piece stiched but whole, now he has to face the fact and go through therapy and much more at his early age, I just can't imagine how they work and sleep so comfortable at night (or day ) I don't want to think about all the poor people's lives they mess up every single day.

Horrible Hospital

As far as I'm concerned I would never reccomend this hospital to any of my family members or friends probably not even my enemies. My reason being my dad was in this hospital had just broken his hip and also had pnuemonia. After a few incidences of him falling while in the hospital we were promised a nurse would be in my dad's room with him at all times. Well there was no nurse with him at all. He got up in the middle of the night and fell. He passed away from his injuries. In our opinon it was the hospital's fault why he died. He was only 61 years old. I would not reccomend this hospital at all!
