I used to live near Sunnyvale & I would never have time during the week to just grab something before work so I started coming to this wonderful location. Many of the items inside are more than 1$ in actuality ... The women inside there are very friendly, helpful with my questions, & are knowledgeable about the area. I go there once a week at least to stock up on my kitchenware and other items of good use. Thank you dollar stop!~~

As the Store owner, I would like to respond on the unfortunate experience you had. 1st I would like to apologize as we pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service to all are customers. I went into the store for the first time and I noticed the employee was to the back of the store on her cellphone. I thought she was just a customer at first but realized that she was in fact the employee. The entire time we were looking she walked around the store on her phone. Did not acknowledge that we were there, did not welcome us to the store, did not ask us if we needed help finding anything, nothing. We go to pay and I thought she would at least put her friend on the phone on hold so she can give us her attention as she is ringing us up, but nope. She stayed with her cellphone to her ear and whispered the total to us and kept talking on the phone. I have worked in customer service for several years and I have never seen a more terrible example of customer service (or lack of I should I say).Clearly, customers are her last concern in the work place. I will not be returning and I will be spreading the word of this awful experience. I realize that this is a dollar store but this is a job that you are getting paid for. I would have given negative stars if that was an option.
