Dr Rick and his staff are top notch! Wouldn't trust anyone else with my pets. Every single person in the building is kind and caring.

If you need a vetinarian that will be there for you then see Rick. My husband took my English Springer Spaniel in and I took my cat. The establishment was there for us in both instances. We love our animals and want the best for them and also in the end we need a place that is compassionate and humane. I highly recommend, approve, and trust South County Vetinarian Hospital

This is definitely a 5 star practice. We always know from the moment we walk in that the friendly staff up front is a great beginning to a positive experience for our pets. Top quality medicine is what your pets get here. Kindness and sincerity is always felt, not only to our cats, but to us, the owners as well.

As usual - great service and Rick is the greatest. He has been my vet since 1984 and will continue to be my vet as long as I have pets. I think that says it all! You guys rock! :)

Best veterinarian ever! Dr. Rick has been our vet since 1998, and we won't take our pets anywhere else. His ability to connect with animals and diagnose their problems is amazing to witness, and he knows how to explain treatment options so you understand your choices and the costs involved. My cat and I are still very happy with South County Animal Hospital. I love Dr. Michelle and Dr. Rick, and their staff -- they are so helpful and informative and friendly, and so sweet and kind to my cat, and the service they provide is excellent and reasonably priced. My cat is healthy and going strong, and will celebrate his 17th birthday next week! Kudos to their doctors and staff for helping him get there.

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Rick for several years now and he is the best Veterinarian I have ever encountered. I recommend him to all my friends who really love and care about their animals. He is by far the best Vet in town.

The best Animal Hospital in South County. Dr. Leininger spends as much time as needed with my animals. He always explains all aspects of the services he is recommending. He is very well informed and up to date on all areas of veterinary medicine. I really like how he gets down on the floor to make my animals very comfortable - they actually like going to the vet - that has never happened before in all the years I have been going to veterinarians. The staff are very professional and friendly whenever I call them for an appointment or just a question. I highly recommend this hospital.

Dr. RIck is fantastic with dogs. I have a Chihuahua mix rescue dog who is highly reactive to me - she has been abused. It took Dr. Rick less than 5 minutes to have her climbing in his lap. I've taken my dogs and cat to South County Animal Hospital for years. I highly recommend them.
