Greg Wood Masonry Has done three chimney restorations for me over the last four years on several properties in Morgan, Vermont. One involved a stone chimney that is about 80 years old and much of the mortar needed to be replaced. Not many contractors want or have the expertise to deal with stone, but Greg did a great job and saved the chimney! Another chimney was a fireplace built in the mid 50s and had never been maintained with repointing the brick mortar joints. The chimney was curved over at the top due to lack of mortar in the joints. Greg rebuilt much of the exterior chimney and restored it. Greg doesn't need any new customers, his reputation keeps him fully booked! Just wanted to tell others what most already know, Gregg Wood is the best around.
