The Triple Community Fire Department serves more than 9,390 residents in Burke County in western North Carolina. The department works to provide medical response and fire suppression and protection solutions. It maintains a fleet of support trailers and all-terrain vehicles. The Triple Community Fire Department works with a team of over 30 staff members. It is responsible for the protection and preservation of life and properties of the citizens of the Triple Community Fire District. The department responds to medical emergencies, hazardous material incidents, and natural and man-made disasters. The Triple Community Fire Department also administers the Junior Firefighter Program.
