Honest Abe's on Rt 47 south of Morris Is rumored to have great food. Let me tell you, the food is good if you can get waited on, your order put in and not forgotten, your food cooked and not raw, not get ignored or the right order you placed. Yesterday I was asked to never come back to Abe's because we cancelled our order. It took us 5 mins to decide what we wanted. It took 15-20 mins before WE HAD TO ASK the server if she was ever going to take our order. She took it, with an attitude. So we went outside to calm down, thought about it more and decided to cancel it. The owner the came out and said our order would be done soon and to come in and pay for it. He didn't want to know why or even try to fix it to me, a customer. Instead, he bitches us out and complains how he is taking a loss because of this. He was trying to take our pictures also to post up to not serve us. He sure didn't care when it was us wasting our money and time FOUR TIMES IN A ROW going there to eat. Yes, now 4 times in a row we have had bad service or food there. Honest Abe's has gone down hill. They will NEVER have to worry about me going the again! They will not get any of my hard earned money from here on out.
