So I stopped at this store cause my sister had a flyer and my mum, sister and I were all coming back from an appt in yorkville and figured we'd make the most of the gas and just stop and do the grocery shopping for the week on the way home together and stopped. Our whole massive purchase in this store was 3 bottles of water to hold us over until we could drive the extra distance to get to the grocery stores in Ottawa that we actually like and enjoy. I suppose the people in Morris might actually think it's a nice store, but compaired to what I am used to... this ain't it let me tell ya'. The selection is actually good if extremely over priced or low quality produce are what your looking for. Example: they had a selection of herbs potted in little 4" pots very expensive in my opinion and more than half dead. I can get some really fantastic herbs in little pots that grow like gang busters from the sweet older gent at the farmers market in Ottawa on Saturday and he only wants a buck or two per pot. The store has a very opressive and dingy feel. Not dingy as in dirty (it seemed clean enough to me), but more like I had an almost overwhelming desire to get my little mini mag light out of my purse (my dad was a boyscout, always be prepaired) to light my way to the exit. I will admit the staff seemed top notch. On lady that must have worked in the pharmacy was on her way out (the purse slung over her shoulder and comfy shoes being a dead giveaway on that one) even stopped and took pity on my sister to help her find some pain killers for her tooth (the apt was at her dentist). Unfortunately that was so overpriced that we just stuck with bottled water and the nearest gas station to get singles of asprin. It's really sad when even when the staff rocks it's still not enough to overcome the dingy feel and pricing over all of the store. I will not be recomending this store to anyone in the near future.
