I was looking for an upholsterer for our dining room chairs and James was recommended by Sally M. he had done work for her in the past and we go to Sally's home often and see the wonderful work that Cooke Furniture has done . I decided to contact Cooke Furniture Design based on good recommendation form Sally who happens to be an Interior Designer. The glowing assessment of his professionalism proved to be correct. James helped me select the right fabric for the chairs and they were completed within the time he indicated. He did a beautiful job on the chairs and they look wonderful in our dining room. We are really pleased with them. I totally recommend Cooke Furniture Design and will definitely use James again in the future.

James put new leather, the tacks, and replaced a spring as well as repairing the arm that had come loose from the seat back of my wife's great grandmother's old rocking chair. He did a wonderful job. He had samples for me to choose the material and tacks for the project. The cost was what I expected for such labor intensive work. It's good to have a local small business to support. It’s good to know that you can take your families heirloom furniture to get restored to keep and use for more years to come. I have other chairs I plan to get worked on.

We had two wing back chairs rebuilt. James fixed the chairs, they were re-stuffed and upholstered in a paisley fabric that was not an easy pattern to use. They are perfect. It took some time to get it done, mostly to get the fabric. James was very patient with us through the fabric selection and very helpful. If you want quality work use Cooke Furniture Design

We had 8 dining room chairs and a sofa re-upholstered by Cooke's and have never been happier, such great work and choice of fabrics were spot on.

I'm a Interior Designer and I just had a clients favorite recliner reupholstered by Cooke Furniture Design. I was originally going to replace it and started looking but couldn't fine one small enough to fit in the room, all were overstuffed. I called Cooke Furniture Design and James came out and gave me an estimate that afternoon. I already had fabric and he was happy to work with it. The chair was picked up and delivered in just 2 weeks. It is absolutely beautiful. Not only is it better than new, it fell within my budget for the job. I highly recommend them.

We want to thank James for a wonderful upholstery job on our dinning room chairs as well as our 3 piece living room set and banquette in our kitchen. Every piece of furniture matches our colors for our home. After speaking with him for just a short while he knew just what we were looking for and fulfilled our every expectation.
