The Kenneth E. Overby 2013 Community Service Award was presented to. Dr. David S. Ward, M.D. F.A.C.S. Director of Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and his staff at 435 South Street, Suite 360, Morristown, NJ and his staff for providing outstanding care to me and the residents of Morris County and beyond. Their superior work ethic, professionalism and compassion has elevated them above the status of their peers. In responding to a calling much bigger than themselves they have dedicated themselves to pursuing excellence and achieving ultimate customer satisfaction. I can personally declare that they have achieved their goal. I am a very satisfied patient who has lost 60 lbs. since my gastric by-pass surgery a year ago and I am keeping it off. I was a former Diabetic who took insulin. However, this surgery has enabled me to eliminate insulin and seven other prescription medicines I was taking. I feel this procedure has given me at least another 20 years to my life. I am forever thankful.
