Founded in 1898, Neigborhood House is a private, multifaceted, nonprofit agency that provides child care and related services for children and their families. It offers several recreational, education, cultural and social service programs. The agency offers a preschool child care program that develops social, emotional, physical and intellectual skills of children and is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Its recreation enrichment program provides opportunities for boys and girls from 7 to 14 years to participate in basketball, soccer and baseball leagues. The agency offers a scholarship program that provides college tuition assistance to high school seniors who have participated in a Neighborhood House program. It is a member agency of the United Neighborhood Centers of America and the United Way of Morris County. Neigborhood House is located in Morristown, N.J.
