To start things off am not one to write bad reviews about things but for Park Place 16 i can not hold back. Since i can remember Park Place 16 has been a low quality theater with small screens and poor management. The theater has a reputation for hiring unprofessional staff who are incapable of properly cleaning a theater. The first of many bad experiences was when a friend and i went to see a matinee. Upon entering the theater entitled "Expendables 2" i was pleasantly surprised to find a low budget sci fi movie playing (after 15 minutes of debating weather or not it was "the expendables" ). After minutes of searching the edifice i managed to find the actual theater that was showing the title that i came to see. Immediately after entering the screen there was a putrid aroma of mildew. At this point i had already missed the beginning of the movie but decided to battle through it with my uttermost optimism. The seats were borderline soaking wet and left your pants looking like you sat down in a puddle. I want to support carmike cinemas because of how conveniently close it is, but there comes a time when enough is enough. With all of the mildew and water damage aside, my friend was humiliated by the man selling tickets. When my friend showed him his college id the cashier laughed at him. I hate to give Carmike Park Place 16 a one star rating because in actuality they don't deserve a star.

The theatre was filthy! All of the bathrooms were flooded and dirty. The popcorn was stale and the food overpriced. Definitely would not recommend.

Nice Theater. Very Clean. Expensive food.
