Provided by YP.comI have been a student of Mr. Chans for six months and he is an excellent Taekwondo instructor and is extremely knowledgeable. The first 10 to 15 minutes of class include stretching, yoga and core training. The remainder of class focuses on blocking and kicking basics, forms, and sparring. Mr. Chan incorporates various other martial arts styles into his sparring training which helps us become very effective at sparring. I love the smaller groups which allows for more personal attention from Mr. Chan. No contracts and unlimited classes are also a nice benefit as well. The ITF style of Taekwondo also focuses more on self-defense and is much more practical in a real-life situation. My main goal for studying Taekwondo was for weight loss and since attending Mr. Chans' classes I have lost 25lbs.
