5 hours and $931 to replace one wire. Called in an emergency phone call before 7:00 am, and was informed that someone would be by between 9:00 am and 11:00 am, but did not should up until 1:30 pm. Took them 5 hours and two people to replace one wire. Would strongly recommend against ever using this company. Overpriced, slow and try to up-sell other services.

Unfortunately there was a car crash in front of my home (people involved are ok now) and it knocked over a pole so we lost power. PSE&G told me that I had to hire an electrician to reinstall the wires pulled from the house because they can only work at the pole. JC sent someone over the next morning. I had to get more work done then I figured because the electrical panel needed to be fixed to current township code. JC explained everything to my insurance company and he got THAT part of the job reimbursed too!

Provided by YP.comCalled my Home Serve insurance company for emergency electrical repair on the weekend. I had lost electrical power to one circuit powered by one breaker. I called Public Service Electric utility and they checked outside lines. They determine there is power coming into the home as well as breaker panel. This private company shows up on Sunday night and re-checks voltage readings in my breaker panel. All read 120 V to each breaker. The electrician needs to step outside and make phone call which lasts 45 minutes. He eventually comes back and tells me I have a "Lost Neutral" (white wire) int he circuit, which is not connected. He never troubleshoots another circuit and has me speak to his boss who has already called Home serve to get approval on my $2000 per service call deductible. He claims it will cost $3800 to re-wire the one circuit and his crew will take two days and may need to rip out walls and replace sheet rock. Also , needs to pull permits for code approval which is additional cost. Home serve calls me back and say they will send out someone in morning for 2nd opinion and to get a better price quote.
The electrician is notified before leaving and tells me it is probably a lost neutral between the first outlet box to breaker and to re--wire new romex and that should put everything back on in the circuit. In the A.M. I go to Home Depot and buy 50 ft. of romex cable for $21.00. I run new wire from breaker panel into 1st outlet in circuit.
EVERYTHING WORKS ! Amazing ! and these charlatans wanted a $3800.00 pay day with boss calling shots without being on the job site ! Consumer BEWARE !!!

Provided by YP.comWe were given their service through our insurance company, and although we saw they had bad reviews, we had no other choice, so we gave them a chance. We had a well pump which turned off often, and when they came, they first gave an incorrect diagnostic on the problem. This problem was not covered by insurance, and they further gave us a charge of $650 just for an electrical part, 3x more than what others would charge. Furthermore, after this part was put in, the pump completely stopped working (overheated), because he put in the complete wrong part. We had to get a completely new pump and they offered to replace it for about $4500 (including what the insurance pays), which is 2x more than what others would do. In total, we had to get other people to come fix it for $2400 with no insurance, out of pocket. We also had to take off their part, which was a thrown out $650. Don't use their service.

Provided by YP.comFound these "guys" in the yellow pages, called and Kevin came out. Also known as Mr Sunshine. Mr Sunshine was clearly annoyed at something but I thought since he was working on the porch, I didn't need him to be nice or anything. I could tell it would have been torture for this guy to smile. We show him how the last strong wind storm blew our screen door off and took some of our porch with it. He pulls the rest of the screen apart charges us over 300 dollars then tells us the total cost will be about 5500.00 dollars. (For screens?) We mention that we're working with our insurance company. He tells us to just make sure we tell them that if not for the storm "the rest of this stuff" would have never happened. He leaves and we are left with one whole side of our screen torn off. We submit his estimate to the insurance company then tell Jaycee that the insurance company wants to speak to them. Our insurance company keeps calling us telling us they can't reach anyone at Jaycee. We ask how we can help, they ask for an itemized bill/ we tell Kevin that we need an itemized bill. He sends us a list of everything he has to do with NO prices. Our insurance company who is usually excellent and prompt (Encompass) naturally tells us they need more information. They also tell us they have been calling Jaycee and they can't get anyone to talk to them. Encompass left messages and they were told to call back later. When they called, no response. Insurance company calls us today and says that after weeks of trying to get through to Jaycee, they finally get through, only for them (Jaycee) to say that all of our problems with the porch were from Rot. We now have a porch that Jaycee pulled apart, by the way he left the pile of trash in our driveway.. The picture below is how our porch has looked for weeks while Jaycee dodged our insurance company. They clearly thought if they tore the porch apart we would tell them to just get it done.

Provided by YP.comMy German shepherd "baby" broke the storm door over the weekend. I have used this company in the past and I decided to go the time and material route. The handyman took the measurements and help me pick one out on-line at Home Depot that was in stock. My new puppy-proof (I hope) door was installed with in 3 hours.

Provided by YP.comGetting ready for spring clean and spruce up around the house but the old back is feeling sore (I'm no spring chicken anymore I guess! - ha!)
Jacee Services was able to come out on my day off and he did exactly as I directed him to. I had him pull everything out of my shed, repair the corner of it, sweep the floor, add a light, and install my new organizing gadgets. Now I'm all set for spring!

Provided by YP.comAfter my son moved out, I decided to move my home office from the basement to his old room so i could work with daylight from the windows. Jacee Electrical sent an electrician out the following day after my phone call. He ran the internet wires up from my router in the basement to the second floor bedroom. I was able to work by that evening in my new office. The tech was very friendly as well.

Provided by YP.comNever ever call this company! They are very unprofessional and they overcharge. I got scammed, don't let it happen to you. Owner is rude, service guy was rude and they took advantage of me. Luckily I used credit card, if I don't get what I want we're going to small claims court. Had to call another company to fix the problem plus fix their service guys mistakes. STAY AWAY!

Provided by YP.comAvoid these people!! They are scammers!! Same thing happened to me couple of days ago. A guy named Mike showed-up and gave an estimate of $2400 to install a power outlet for over the range microwave!! He charged $98 for this estimate. Also, the solution he suggested to install the outlet is crazy. It never works. They are just scammers. They show up within hours when you call. Give an estimate that's 10 times more than its supposed to be. Charge the estimate fee and disappear. For the estimates they provide, not body would use them. So, the estimate fee you pay will be gone for good. Found another licensed electrician and got the entire job done for $320.

I have my elderly mother living with me and when my A/C stopped working, I needed help fast! I called 4 or 5 companies before reaching a live person a Jacee. They came the same day and repaired the compressor, changed the filter and gave an estimate for a replacement because mine is getting old. I will call them again. Thanks Jacee!

Provided by YP.comI had no power and I was in a panic. Jacee was the only one to actually answer their phone. All the other contractors I called had voicemail. They replaced my panel ASAP and filed for permits. I will call them again because they are efficient and served me fast.

Provided by YP.comPlease do not use these people. A guy named Mike showed up, did nothing, gave me an estimate for $2,400!! Was charged $196 for this estimate, but I stopped the check.
Next day I called my regular (who was not avail. the day before) He fixed everything, charged me $195!!!
I repeat, do not use this outfit.
Also, would have been easier to use a credit card, easier to stop the charge, will do this from now on. Seems, you have to use at least a one star rating..they deserve nothing.

Provided by YP.comBad business; bad people. Mike the service guy comes out and is extremely rude. He looks over (troubleshoots) in less than 20 minutes and charges $196 for nothing. Supposedly he gets half and the owner John gets the other half. What a scam. Supposedly you will get a credit toward the actual job when Mike comes back out but he doesn't return your call when you ask for him to come back out. When you call John he huffs and puffs, is terribly rude says they will call back the next day but they don't. Bad business; bad people; bad Karma. Stay away from this scamming duo.

Provided by YPmobileDo not call these people. They convinced my 88 year old uncle to spend $5,500.00 to replace an outlet!!! They said they had to install two new breakers and run more wire. When the county inspector came to inspect the work, he failed the inspection! He informed us that the work was sub par and the worst he has seen. He also informed us that Jacee should have just replaced the outlet there was no need for all the new wiring. Folks, please do not call Jacee Electric, they should be shut down and put out of business. They took advantage on a 88 year old man, and convinced him that it would cost 5500 dollars. Please, save yourself the headache, DO NOK call Jacee Electric for anything.
