I've struggled with how many stars to rate a church. Are the people friendly? Do they serve doughnuts? Are there a lot of outreach programs? Are the seats comfortable? Do you leave with a 'warm fuzzy'?

The Crossing moved to it's present location on the end of Travois Way in 2009. The typical Sunday meeting is about 100 people. The music is contemporary, the people are kind, and the sermons are held tightly to scripture. There are no doughnuts in the lobby - just some sweetbread for newcomers. The management of the church body is awkward I have to say. But I never been anywhere else where I've experienced a people as broken and hungry for God. My faith has grown from wanting to be a better person to walking in the life that a powerful, trustworthy, eternal God wants for me. Little pretense, few programs...Just Jesus.
