My girlfriend and I were excited for the opportunity to rent through a less common property management company in hopes for better communication; we quickly found rolling hills property management not to be the place for this. It started as soon as we moved in, our upstairs neighbors (also renting through RHPM) had no internet access for almost a month (shared internet between us in the rental agreement), they ultimately had to start their own internet service which cancelled ours for a week all of this due to the lack of assistance. After moving past this, we were excited for the turn around -however this didn't happen. Our air conditioning broke (included in the rent and a major factor in our decision to rent this unit) and rolling hills didn't communicate hardly at all with us about the time table of getting it fixed or who was fixing it. I received a call from Gropps while at work saying they were at our place but the door was locked -We were never informed of the scheduled time for repair. Moving forward, the unit was going to cost too much to repair so the upstairs tenants and us were given window AC units which were rated to cool about 400 sq ft. (our units were over 1,000 sq ft). As the year went by we quickly found out that when we did stop by RHPM during their advertised hours it was unlikely they were there, our emails and texts took days to be responded to (especially if it were on a Friday, usually wouldn't hear back until the next week.) After numerous issues with this property company, the cherry on top came after I lost the security deposit return (in the middle of a move, not my proudest moment) and when I inquired about the possibility of the check being voided and me just simply stopping by RHPM to save mailing costs I was told, "sorry, but thats not our issue." Please learn from our mistake, I have rented through 3 property management companies now in Moscow and RHPM easily was my worst experience.
