NO STARS. Long story shortened considerably, my father wanted to support a local business. He is a mechanic by trade, but was recently diagnosed and is being treated for cancer. Normally he would do the work, but has been too sick. He brought my car down there and asked to have the head gasket replaced. They replaced the intake gasket. My father a quiet man, gently complained about how besides replacing the wrong part, they left multiple parts loose when putting everything back together. He attempted to quietly go reason with them. They hymned and hawed about how the car wasn't over heating anymore (my father tried to explain it was) Then, said that "intake gasket" was on the work order. Well when the work order was found, it said HEAD GASKET. Then the mechanic and the service writer bickered back and forth about how he was told intake gasket. I DO NOT CARE. It could have been on honest mistake, but fix your wrong. Fix the right part and give my sick father his money back for the labor performed on the intake gasket, or give him a discount for the amount of the labor on the intake gasket and apply it to the head gasket. My father also believes you can only get so far with a person... so after no willingness to fix their wrong, he left. My car still isn't fixed and my father has been trying to tinker with it whenever he has energy. DO NOT GO HERE.
