This company was hired to install exhaust fans in two existing glass block windows in my house. The workmen asked me which row I wanted them in, I said the first and that's where they were installed. Two days later I realized they would not function there and needed to be moved down a row. I called the company and asked to have them moved down, I said I would pay for the additional work since I agreed with the original decision about placement. The owner never came out to look at the job nor did he send any workmen out. He had his receptionist call me to say the fans could not be moved. I sent an email again stating I'd be happy to pay but I did not believe nothing could be done. I received absolutely NO response. No call no email no site visit. I hired another company to move the fans, no problem. Be aware that if the initial job is unsatisfactory for any reason, you likely will receive no help from this company, you will be on your own to resolve the problem. I called twice and emailed once. I was extremely polite each time and never suggested that the company should redo the job at their expense (even though I think the workmen should have been able to predict that the fans would not function in the location they were installed).

WARNING, there are 2 Metro Glass Block Companies & they are NOT affilated at ALL. I did my research & this is what I found. Metro Glass Block "INC." in Mt. Clemens is an excellent company & has an "A" rating with the Better Business Bureau. They have been a family owned business for over 16 years. Their staff have been with them for 16 years also. Metro Glass Block in "BERKLEY" is the company that has been receiving the horrible ratings. I wouldn't let this company within 10 feet of my home. I had my windows installed by Metro Glass Block, Inc. in Mt. Clemens & the woman answering the telephone was extremely friendly & very knowledgable. The installer did an awesome job. He was so pleasant & professional. He cleaned up after my installation & my house was immaculate when he left. I couldn't believe how fast the installation took. My windows are beautiful. I would highly recommend Metro Glass Block, Inc in Mt. Clemens.

This company provided excellant quality workmanship, price and customer service. I would highly recommend this company.
