I recently closed on my home and my experience was horrible. Our real estate agent, Chris Grant, didn't have any part in our process. Whenever we had a showing, my husband and I had to constantly follow up with her for feedback. When we finally sold our home, we had to AGAIN follow up with her on everything. The day the appraiser came, the first thing the appraiser said to us was "I never received the list of upgrades from your realtor" after she told me she was sending them. I was also curious as to WHO was going to be there to open the doors for the appraiser because noone showed up. Although this may be the buyer's agent duty to show up, I believe it is the seller's agent's job to double check that someone will be there, it is the seller's home after all! Chris would stop texting me back, but continue to text my husband back which is extremely offensive from female to female. The issues started when we wanted to counter-offer the offer we received and I asked her if my husband and I could discuss whether or not we wanted to counter later on that night together and let her know within the hour. She immediatley got an attitude with me and stared me down the entire time she was in my house, She's lucky I didn't kick her out and fire her right then and there. Oh and her boss, Jeanne Abernathy - don't even bother contacting her with concerns and issues because she doesn't care.
