Stay away from puppy Barn. Absolute worse place ever to buy a puppy! You and your family will have the worst experience ever.

Terrible customer service. Absolutely terrible. I went here twice and the first time i saw a puppy I really liked, so I went back a few days later and asked to hold that particular puppy and the lady said no, there's too great of a chance that it can get sick and they don't want the puppies to be held until they're bought. If you want to buy a puppy that you can't even see if it's gonna snap at you like the employees do, then go here; but if you actually want to get to know the puppy you want to buy for at least $1,000 who you will be with for between 10-15 years, then you should definitely go elsewhere.

After traveling an hour and a half to see this puppy a second time, I wanted to hold this Westie so we knew if he would be the right temperament for a household of ages from newborn to 60. We are looking for a very specific dog and we thought we found it, but we're not going to risk bringing home a dog if we can't even hold him. What if we brought the puppy home and it immediately bit the newborn baby as soon as they met? After 30 minutes of waiting for someone to assist us, the employee has the odassity to tell us that it is too dangerous to take the puppy out unless we buy him first. I've never heard of anything so insane before.
I can understand why there's a rule on not reaching into the pens, as anyone who's walking by would pet the puppies. But if you have a customer prepared to spend over $1,000 for one of the puppies, they should be able to spend as much time as possible with the puppy. This shows they obviously don't care about the dogs because they would rather send them home with someone who doesn't even know if they'll like the dog as long as they pay before they get to even pet it.

Please don't waste your time going to this store. One can not purchase a dog unless they know it's the right fit. Going to this store is a impulse buy, and that's how you buy something from Walmart, not a puppy.

We took the puppy that we just purchased on Friday (It is Monday) to the vet yesterday because he was lethargic. He has giardia (which can be passed to humans and other pets) and pneumonia. He is living at the vets right now until he can come home IF he can come home. There is no guarantee that he will do well from this. While we were there, 2 other puppies were brought in from this puppy barn/mill for the same issues and they are also on oxygen and not doing well. Do not buy from this puppy mill. Trust me, I have always done rescues; My past 6 rescues had NO health issues and cost $50 to rescue.

bought a german shepherd from there after my brother inlaw bought one. straight to vet from there, mine had kennel cough and i had to shell out $500 for X-rays and vet bill. my brother inlaw's was in a different cage and his has giarddia and is currently in the vet's for an overnighter for iv fluids. they claim to have the puppies vet checked, either its a lie or the vet is terrible. for the price we payed, you would expect to get a healthy puppy

Don't waste your time.

I have never been treated so rudely in my life! The staff members are extremely rude and are not very knowledgeable about the puppies they are selling. I also noticed more then one puppy eating feces. I would never buy a puppy from there nor will I ever return.
