I like Dr. Myers, but she is chronically running late - VERY late - and her staff is not competent. Sorry, but there's no nice way to say it. I have to make multiple phone calls to get prescriptions phoned in or referrals sent. In fact, I no longer use this office for referrals because they simply don't send out the paperwork no many how many times you ask.
The communication problems are extreme - I leave an appointment with what I think is very clear sense of what our course of action will be only to find that the PA has either changed her mind or had a completely different understanding of the conversation in the first place. And it's not as if I can call for clarification - if you call to ask a question, they tell you to make another appointment.
I had a very favorable impression of this practice before I became a patient, and I waited years for Dr. Myers to begin accepting new patients again. But now that I am seeing this practice up close, I am very disappointed.
I plan to remain a patient because it's very conveniently located for me, and I honestly do think Dr. Myers is an excellent physician, but I am using specialists for anything really serious. Sadly, I can't justify putting my health at risk because a receptionist can't be bothered to make a phone call.
