Traveling thorough this quaint village and came upon The Grumpy Troll. Its in an old restored creamery. Very nice interior with restaurants on two floors. The upstairs boasts a gourmet pizzeria. We were seated by a friendly host and were greeted immediately by or waitress, Kathy. She was very friendly and knowledgable. The brewery was visible from the dining room. We looked over the extensive beer menu (12) and Kathy reccommended a sampler. a short time later 12 little glasses of delicious beer arrived at our table. I ordered a Rueben with waffle fries and my buddy ordered the walley sandwich with regular fries. It was busy in hte place but our food came out pretty quickly. My rueben was the best i have ever had and the walleye sandwich looked terrific. the fires were awesome, beer battered i think. The prices were just as we expected for quality food and service in a nice atmosphere. We will be back through again and will definitely stop here. This place is a winner!
