I have rented bounce houses fr...

I have rented bounce houses from cheifs several times in the past. I have always been able to pick up bounce house and install myself and save the delivery fee. This time I was informed you could no long pick up yourself there is a mandatory $50 delivery fee. I understand this policy, I can see how this could be a problem and to be honest the thought of not having to deal with it was worth the extra $50.



The bounce house was delivered on time. The day of the party the bounce house would deflat enough that it would flop to one side. I checked a few things with no luck of fixing it. I didn't call Cheifs because they are closed on Sunday and I figured by the time they got my message (if they even check them on Sunday) and got someone out the party would be pretty much over. I called the next day and spoke with the shop manager and told him of the ordeal. He asked if I checked a zipper I informed him that I didn't know of any zippers, and I thought that would be checked during the mandatory install. He said when he got. It back in he would check it out and "get back to me". One week later the bounce house was picked up and after a few days of not hearing back I called him. He said that the unit had a hole in it and would give me a credit or refund. I told him I would prefer a refund but did not expect 100% back because we did get some use out of it with smaller children. He was out of the office and would take care of it. After a few days of not receiving anything I emailed asking the status. A few days after the email I was looking at my account to get dates and amounts so I could start presenting a case. I noticed while looking at my account a $45 credit. I called and asked for owner and was told he or she wasn't there. I stated the reason for my call and asked for a return call. After not receiving a call I sent a long emai (much like this review) asking how it's reasonable that I receive less than the mandatory install fee when that's where the hole should have been found. I also asked that I hear back regardless of the decision.



Two weeks later still no answer. I would not recommend Cheifs rental. Sorry for the long review.
