I hope this never happen to anyone else. It happen to us, and we lost $6,000 dollars as a result.



My new mobile home has been at this location for less than one year. Monday April 5th- I started laundry..20 mins later- 3-5 inches of raw sewage came Pouring out from both bathrooms covering the floors, bathtub, and draining into our air ducts. Park was notified earlier that day that drainage was slow. They were notified at time of incident, and we were told someone would be out the next day. I called ServiceMaster who then started emergency clean up.

Mr. Plumber came out the next day-ran a camera down the line, and determined there was a blockage in a 15ft-20ft backpitched section that was making it difficult for water to move to the main sewage.

Because the problem was a result of the Park's Lines, my insurance through Allstate would not cover. Park management had someone come out and fix lines lines. The Park management and their insurance company told me it was an 'Act of God', and would not cover our damage which included clean up, removal of flooring/walls, hotel expenses.

My Lawyer told me I would have to find them Negligent...and that it would be difficult to do. So, I have fallen in a grey area with no ability to recover cost.

I have asked to speak with the actual owners of the park about this, but have not been given contact information. If the Owner(s) of the Park read this, please contact me so we can resolve this matter.
